Demo Reel

I used XGen Interactive to groom all characters, crafting a variety of hairstyles including curly, braided, twisted, and straight hair, as well as fur for the bull asset. For the African American characters, I designed and modeled their clothing using Marvelous Designer. Additionally, I textured all character and environment assets using Substance Painter. I modeled various assets such as Easel, paint materials, books, wall art, chairs, bookshelves, lower bookcases, window sills, amps, crayons, and cloth in Maya. I performed UV mapping in Maya for all assets. In ZBrush, I sculpted the octopus and green Scrump doll.

For lighting, I created setups for all scenes in Maya, including both cloudy and sunny day lighting. Additionally, in the cloudy scene, I used Bifrost in Maya to create the water, which was exported to a displacement map for use in the scene.

Following the scene creation, all scenes were composited in Nuke and exported to MP4 format using Media Encoder.

Pirate of the Oneiric

“The Pirate of the Oneiric” is a story where childhood dreams collide with reality. In the narrative, Leila’s journey symbolizes the struggle between authenticity and societal conformity, transitioning from the safety of childhood imagination to the uncertainties of adulthood. Leila embodies the fear and uncertainty of life’s transitions, while Anipe signifies conformity and personal growth into adulthood.
